Bottlenecks in delivery logistics
European courier, express and parcel service providers are working at the limit of their capacity
Driven by the coronavirus pandemic, some logistics service providers are currently having to handle eight times the volume of shipments as in the same period last year. In some cases, this has resulted in significant delays in the delivery of our products. Although additional vehicles and drivers are being deployed, there is a lack of electronic handheld devices to document deliveries. As a result, it is no longer possible to track the delivery status of all shipments in real time.
Endress+Hauser regrets possible delays in delivery, over which we unfortunately have no control. In urgent cases, our sales centers are working with our customers to find solutions to ensure the shortest possible transit times.
