Our products for simple, fast and digital communication
Ethernet-APL extends the capabilities of conventional Ethernet to meet the high requirements of the process industry, e.g. long cable lengths, easy installation and explosion-proof design. It enables high-speed communication and power supply via 2-wire-cable and is therefore suitable for field-level devices such as measuring sensors. Endress+Hauser offers a variety of measuring devices that are suitable for Ethernet-APL.
Endress+Hauser offers measuring devices that are ready for Ethernet-APL.

PROFINET PA Profile 4, S2 System redundancy, Dynamic reconfiguration
Embedded web server providing remote access for parameterization, troubleshooting and other functions (e.g. reports)
State-of-the-art system integration via FDI Packages
Touch-enabled Human Machine Interfaces in web server and asset management, device driver for cyclic communication (e.g. GSD for PROFINET) stored in device Guided parameterization for simple operation
Ethernet-APL is a new physical layer for Ethernet - developed to fulfill the requirements of the process industry. Any type of industrial Ethernet protocol or standard Ethernet application can be combined with Ethernet-APL. Endress+Hauser has launched PROFINET instruments as the first Ethernet-APL ready devices. Further protocols will follow.
