An apprenticeship at Endress+Hauser Flow takes apprentices a big step forward. In addition to professional support from a competent and dedicated team of vocational trainers as well as individual support, they benefit from various additional activities and interesting opportunities. Tasks

As a physical laboratory technician, you conduct experiments involving processing techniques in the production of flow measuring instruments. You understand and work with various electronic, magnetic, optical, and mechanical analysis methods to determine material properties. You gain insight into the processing of plastics and metals and can directly experience how their properties change in the production of flow measuring instruments.

Duration

The apprenticeship lasts four years. The apprentices attend regular classes at the Allgemeinen Berufsschule Zürich in Switzerland. Our apprentices are also offered the opportunity of international training (EUREGIO), that is, the completion of an internship in a foreign country close to the border. We strongly encourage their obtaining professional maturity during the apprenticeship with us.

Prerequisites

We are looking for young people with very good abstract and analytical thinking skills and an aptitude for technical contexts. Good grades in mathematics and physics are required. You also enjoy experimenting and tinkering, have excellent fine motor skills and work in a thorough, precise, and careful manner.

Suitable students: good secondary school students level P or gymnasium students.
